Thinking of selling my gtx 1080 for the gtx 1080 ti. I play Elite Dangerous in VR and bump up the HMD quality (supersampling) enough that performance is not quite there I want it. Looking forward to seeing benchmarks.

nVidia charge more for the 1070 and 1080 and titan xp and milks the market while AMD skips high end for this year and just releases Polaris for low-mid and concentrates on vega. Not to mention nVidia very intelligently try to bump prices with their whole Founders edition cards which are "premium products" (LOL). So this is why we all expect a high price for the 1080Ti. Now Vega is on the brink of release they drop prices slightly and come in on a price lower than expected on the 1080Ti and people think its cheap? Some very smart marketing but also dumb people. nVidia is playing you and your wallet but while your being dumb your'e willing to pay. Im on a 980ti right now but ima hold off on 1080Ti and see if it's worth the price.

I believe that AMD vega cards will be big, as AMD had a lot of motherboards for a cheaper price. AMD will have along their vega range cards, a lot !! of 4K screens with freesync v2 for a cheap price ! So this might become a big deal
