Elon Musk’s Mars colonization event in 5 minutes

Spread the love

On September 27, Elon Musk announced a bold new plan to establish a permanent human habitation on Mars with his company SpaceX. It’s one of the most ambitious schemes Musk — or humanity in general — has ever attempted, relying on huge advances in both rocketry and spaceship construction.

Mr. Musk's slide did not include that fact that Earth's atmosphere is about 78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen, whereas the Martian atmosphere is about 96% carbon dioxide, 2% argon, and 2% nitrogen. What will the people breathe? There is not evidence, so far, for adequate liquid water on Mars. Going to Mars might be possible, but living on Mars, especially in a permanent colony, is not.

The Earth is the only habitable planet in the universe that we know. If we could reduce our consumption of resources, reduce the human population over time, and clean up our messes, we could survive as a species for a long time.

62.5% less gravity on mars. Does that mean we could eventually run on Mars surface(with a suit) and jump like 50 feet into the "air"? I can just imagine how cool that would be

  • July 13, 2018 at 3:07 am

how do they beat the gravity of mars because it's to low of gravity for humans to live long term

Elon Musk you are the true Iron man. saving and contributing for benefit of the world and to make people lives so amazing.
Elon Musk you are the best! Your purpose will be legacy 🙂 he made an incredible history and he is the only guy who does this.

I'm telling you I co-own dark matter Elon Musk you can colonize and create a whole new planet even Earth in TRUTH

  • July 25, 2018 at 12:16 am

This is ridiculous, i don't mean this in an ugly way, but come on take so many people to #Mars in that rocket is impossible. He is playing with our hope because he need the money that the US Gov give him.

I am pretty sure that we are able to go to #Mars but we need more than a small rocket.

just a little reminder to the people who think this little mans rockets are better then nasa's or he will out run them "when your drinking water from the well just remember who dug the well! must be lots of school kids commenting on this commenting on things they know nothig about! look up how easy it is to land on mars or how easy to get back! maybe 100 years from now definitely not our life time if it was that easy Russia would of done it or the u.s.

What if there used to be other intelligent life on earth that have already left earth to go to other planets?

  • September 11, 2018 at 2:31 am

We can't even Tara form 3rd world country so that there will be no more starvation…

… And this jackass in the video thinks Tera forming Mars is possible, yeah sure, lol.

  • October 3, 2018 at 11:20 pm

Its actually good there are zero people on Mars…the radation levels and gravity levels there accelerate s death.

  • October 3, 2018 at 11:25 pm

I mean still terra form Mars but make space stations with artifical gravity near Mars and the resources can be utilize d while the colonists do not have alternations occur…So the presence of humans s can be made in the solar system.

  • October 10, 2018 at 8:52 am

Theres a difference between making it "seem possible" and actually doing it successfully with a 0 death toll

  • October 17, 2018 at 3:38 pm

This is really cool stuff.. He's absolutely true about the fact that we humans are gonna be gone by an unmitigated event in the future and the only option is to colonize other planets… Go Elon 😎
