We can tell that T-Mobile’s marketing department is full of smartphone fanatics who are just as enthusiastic about unboxing a new handset as the most devoted gadget junkie is. How do we know this? Take a gander at the new product video released today by the carrier to announce the new T-Mobile Revvl 2 and T-Mobile Revvl 2 Plus phones. As T-Mobile content director Desmond Smith casually unboxes the Revvl 2, the background music comes to a halt so we can hear that special sound made by the protective plastic covering getting peeled off the screen. This takes place about 53 seconds into the video. Only a fellow smartphone enthusiast knows how pleasurable that sound is.
While T-Mobile is selling the pair as affordable budget models, both do feature an 18:9 aspect ratio and the Revvl 2 Plus does offer a dual camera setup in back (12MP + 2MP), along with a 4000mAh battery inside.
You can check out the official video, which we’ve embedded at the top of this article. And we understand if you want to play it over and over again to hear the distinctive sound of the plastic screen protector getting peeled off a new phone.
