Nintendo with mario and botw are leaps and bounds in front of the competition, there games have a polish to them that is unmatched .

Using the word "veritable" once is okay, but it seems weird to use it twice inside 30 seconds

I just finished the game today and now I know why it deserves perfect score. Everytime i start the game i just go to unknown area on foot and explore the breathtaking environmnt, this is amazing game.period.

If you have a switch or a Wii U and don’t have this game well I don’t no what to say to you then just go fun buy it

This is a solid 8/10 game that everyone gushes over because it has "Zelda" in the title.

I couldn’t agree more! This game is absolutely amazing. The world is beautiful, the mechanics are well thought-out, the puzzles and mysteries of the game are just difficult enough to make you really think, there are surprises around every corner. I completed the story line rather quickly my first time but I missed out on a ton of things! So I decided to restart and really play it in detail. Both my fiancé and I have been OBSESSED since then. He’s typically and XBox guy but he loves this game as much as I do and we play it together, taking turns defeating difficult enemies and solving shrines. It’s a bonding game for us and we have so much fun discovering everything together little by little. By far, the best Zelda game i’ve Ever played!

I'm not a nintendo hater, i used to be a big fan . I just think that all these games deserve more. When I bought Wii back then and realised it had no HD, i was so disappointed.I just finished Twilight Princess and sold it back. How can nintedo let this happen since they are innovative and stuff. They do surely make innovations etc, but hardware-wise, it seems like they are 1 step behind always. Imagine this game on a PC, or PS4 . Same artstyle but way more polished etc.
These perfect games don't deserve this. It's like a great football player staying in a just decent team forever.

Bruh, i hate the game, i bough switch about a week ago, and obsly i bough zelda first thing right? Everyone was sayng how amazing it is and you absolutely have to play it, but bruu, i was forcing my self to play it, in the end hardly compliting the ganon not even finish side quests or taking out the sword i sold it cuz its that bad, the only thing that was nice is the cut scenes when you saving the champions, everything else felt super boring and super repetetive, the fighting sucked, like i played skyrim and witcher and stuff and those games complitely muched through my time like 200+ h in each, but zelda was just a drag for me, and i just regreted in trying to get in to the Zelda hype, i dunno maybe i need to be even older, or be like a long term zelda fan all the way from dendi and sega times… Id give it 4/10 or sum shit, i dunno wagwan boss man but that shit can't run.(a little edit, i liked most of the cut scenes overall, they kinda felt like watching anime romance)

I think the plateau is the single most impressive first opening hours of game I've ever played; been completely blown away. I slapped myself while playing last night in excitment lol, last time I did that was probably GTA 3 😂

Just got my switch last week after over a year deliberating. Will save this one for later! And super Mario too. Two of the greatest games on the system for sure. I will get to them soon enough. Great review by the way.

I waited a year+ to get this game or a switch. I had a PS4 and PC at the time. I got bored halfway through Horizon Dawn. Finished off the witcher 3 on pc. Then kinda fell in and out of gaming for awhile.

Then I got this game and I loved every moment of it. This game could have been perfect if it only had MORE lore/ interaction with characters. The last boss/area was a huge letdown for me. Outside of that I think the game was fantastic.

I just wish there was a few more call backs to OoT or Majora's Mask. Towns and stuff.

Not sure if I'm going to buy this yet but it does look really good though! … I've never actually played a zelda game before, is it necessary to have played previous zelda games in order to understand the storyline?

  • October 27, 2018 at 3:35 pm

I played this game for hours every day which caused me to complete it within just a few months. I wish I would’ve taken more time to enjoy it because the feeling this game gives you when you are exploring is truly breathtaking. Now that I have beaten it, I can’t get that feeling back. I want nothing more than to erase my memory, just like link, and to experience this masterpiece again.

A masterpiece indeed. It's almost a little hard to believe this is even a game.. its almost like the zelda team discovered some new source of entertainment with this.
