Building the ultimate Star Wars lightsaber

Spread the love

Over the past 15 years Star Wars fans have created their own custom, high-end lightsaber scene, producing some of the most accurate designs ever created. With The Force Awakens bringing the original Skywalker saber back to the big screen, The Verge’s Bryan Bishop set out to track down the most realistic and spectacular version he could possibly find… of course, he ended up talking to Yoda.

Sword fighting also just gives a really good feeling in general. I mean think about it, I think all of us have duelled or played with swords against friends at least once, and the feeling is so exhilarating.

Within a century or so, somin similar, or a replica encompassing some form of advanced holographic control will make this easily possible. Off course by then, other more futuristic advanced phenomena would have captivated us, be it be entertainment generated or otherwise, making this a blip of the past..

This Yoda guy lives like half an hour away from me and I've never heard of this guy. Interesting.
