Why Microsoft makes weird hardware

Spread the love

We went inside Microsoft’s hardware lab to see how it developed the Surface Book and to explore this question: why such a big focus on hinges? Microsoft is teaching itself how to make weird stuff for a reason.

Microsoft is doing a good job. But please pay attention to more practical part such as larger display, lighter and thin body. I don't need previous material. Besides, please have the wrong English typing function. Wrong English words need to be warned like Mac.

Microsofts money supply is being depleted for turning dicks Micro and Soft and Bill Gates is now Bill Dicks for stealing Gates. Oh, well looks like his first connection as Bill Dicks was Bill Cosby, good luck with that rapist, and Good luck being a Rapist when your dicks micro and soft, and whenever you get a hard one someone comes along and steals it away.

Two screens tablet will be awesome. I'm so used to two screens on desktop that I despise one screen computers as hugely inefficient.

This is the entire problem with Microsoft and Apple to a certain extent although you wouldn’t know it with their ads. But they’re still approaching tech as computers. And the issue is an iPad is actually a scaled up phone when really it ought to have been a Mac squished down and just abandoned the legacy way of doing things. Going towards pens is pointless.

I'd like to see MS produce a Surface phone. Full blown Windows X rather than some infantile watered down OS running silly gal-asses apps. Or better still, a Surface Pro with cellphone baked in, and the Pen serves double duty as the handset. Computer stays in a bag and the Pen is clipped to your shirt.

No one wants to pay the big bucks for the Microsoft hardware like Apple hardware. A lot of people praise the new windows system, but lots of people that own surface product are not completely happy compare to people that own apple product a decade ago. Microsoft is an orange trying to be an apple, it is not happening. Just like how windows OS (95 till 10) is always known to be super buggy compared to mac OS.

Wish they would try fixing Windows 10 instead instead of it just being full of features no one's wants and being spyware

I really like the aesthetics of the SB 2, its minimilistic and art deco, like a designed beach house in sweden

Weird, you mean you still cannot envision what they aim for with the product? Windows Phones had superior technology that was left to die because people really didn't care but now look at Live Photos or Maps AR and the flat UX. Windows Phones had it already, Here Maps City lens was way before Google had ARCore and flat UX won design awards because it really was designed for touch unlike its counterparts back then. Live Photos did exist as well and the story features all were in the Nokia Storyteller app. People are really biased.

"Transformers that keeps (sic) Windows relevant"? Microsoft Windows has an 85% market share. The default operating system of the planet is not made relevant because of some boutique hardware. MacOS on the other hand…
