I just built my buddy a 1600 system with a 1070 for 760$ 16gb gskill 3000mhz 120gb ssd and a 1tb hdd wd black… I did get the 1070 used for 270, evga ftw…. They make up for the cost of the xbox with live and overpriced games. You end up paying more for the console than you would on the pc in long term………. And yes Ive gotten case power supply combo deal, rosewill, and my power supply litterally shot sparks and smoke out of the back while playing gta 5. It was toast. Rest of the pc was still good.

Microsoft priced this machine really low for what it is. It's an extremely good deal and NO pc build can compare to the price performance ratio. It's easily more powerful than the ps4 pro. 6 teraflops and 12gb gddr5 graphics ram will allow 4k for sure. I am a pc enthusiast but damn this is a great console.

Explain how 8 gb of ddr3 is the same as 9 gb ddr5, for game side that the Xbox one x has?

So having 9gb ddr5, again what the Xbox one x actually has, what would the price be?

If i do a xbox a favor now at a price of x for my part cause they are going to sell a million of my item…as opposed to a one off person it triple the price.

Video Games started with Joy Sticks and gaming Pads…..why does it seem strange the majority would want a controller???Come on you can't love tech and "Video Games" and be that clueless.

The Xbox One X graphics is equal to a GTX 690 and about ten percent less than a GTX 980.

I think you could have gotten a better deal on a graphics card.

    John Carmack‏Verified account
For the same given paper spec, a console will deliver twice the perf of a PC, and a PC will deliver twice the perf of a mobile part. just wanted to post this here!

didnt know you can run forza 7 at 4k 60 high settings with that build….?

Salty PC gamers trying hard to make one x compatible build. Iam playing games on PC for over 10 years. you can't build 4k PC under 500$. it's impossible. you will never get same performance as One X for 500$. You have to spend close to 900$

  • July 2, 2017 at 5:45 pm

Don't forget MS will drop it to 399 next year as parts get cheaper. So you will struggle even more to match performance.
one X also comes with system wide Dolby Atmos which is not true

I will not recommend PC build by Aliana to match One X even to my enemy. it's so shitty low end. it will struggle to match performance as games will not be optimized for such low end build

What about built in wifi wireless controller and 4K blue ray player?

  • August 25, 2017 at 7:18 pm

I would like an update on this! Can you do better now? Month and change to go, and with more details on what devs are actually achieving with the tech.

I am still trying to figure out how you compared a Xbox APU with a RX 580 GPU? The 580 (I don't own but watch reviews.) does 60+ FPS at 1080p, like 90+ on BF1 etc…
4k with dynamic resolution (less then 4k) and checker boarding things other then a racing game that sucks.

Ya lost a little credibility on this video.

that motherboard doesn't have built in wifi like the one x so you gotta get a higher price motherboard

  • November 4, 2017 at 2:03 pm

Sooo…..close to 1000$ to compare to an xbox one x…..interesting

  • November 6, 2017 at 2:31 pm

Thumps down for this video, I love PC gaming, but you forget a lot of thing.
On Xbox you get 2 games each month free, also on the Xbox One X has a 4k Blu ray player, Dolby Atmos.
And also….. On Xbox One X you can capture and stream 4k HDR.

And another thing If I want 4k gaming, I go to the store, buy a xbox one X and put some cables in and ready!
For the same price, I need to build what taking a lot of time,or I need to google and find really a great deal.
And the most important thing, You dont know the difference between the hard drive's hahahahahah.

So you have the xbox one X for 499 4k player, small design, 4k capture,HDR,2 games each month free,4k gaming.
And at the other hand, you have a 499 PC, you need google to find all the right parts, No 4k Blu Ray, No HDR, no 4k capture.

By the way Gears of war, shadow of war, titanfall are all High Ultra settings.

Please next time: Get your fact straight, do a right comparison. this is just laughable
