Your being kind – Bixby needs to be a lot better to compete. Why can't Samsung just use Google assistant ?

I just started using Bixby. Since it is a voice capable of controlling every aspect of my Galaxy S 8, I would suggest a feature where users can teach Bixby themselves. For example, I have an App called Goal. I asked Bixby to open it, it couldn't find what I was asking. It would be better if there was a way to input the command and teach Bixby a step by step on how to just open the App ( the app doesnt have voice command, just opening it would be fine). Data could be collected and a lot of those new commands could be shared and help other users and speed up Bixby's learning.

Or you know use the google assistant? Maybe someday we can load stock android like imagining a windows computer. Development time wasted on another AI instead of removing the dreaded Samsung lag and lack of updates

Bixby in it's early stages and seems to be slowly improving .
All the commands explained in the video like
"who is the president of the US" after asking about weather,
"text Mom ask how are you ? "
"Send a text to dad ask how are you ?"

Seem to be working perfectly for me. !!

I've had an S8 for about a month and my biggest complaint is the existence of Bixby. Bixby single-handedly makes the S8 one of the worst phones I've ever owned, second only to the LG Chocolate.

Bixby is better than google assistant because sensing capability is higher for bixby than google

  • May 14, 2018 at 5:59 pm

    Me: "Deactivate Bixby"
Bixby: "Dammn boy y'all best be addressin me as Lord BIXBY befo I remap every action on yo phone to play Justin Bieber.. Bixby buton fo life fool"
