  • June 21, 2017 at 6:23 pm

I really hope they'll add more languages or accents for our XCOM soldiers.

I'd like to hear more information about these new classes. Are they only unlocked when you reach a certain point with their designated group? Are they special soldiers that can be summoned to the field or can they appear randomly? Are they like the soldiers already available and just take more space on the already small squad?

Man i wish Firaxis same team would pick up the Jagged Alliance franchise and really make a worthy remake or sequel to Jagged Alliance 2. It still hasn't been done yet and it's probably the best turn based squad shooter/rpg ever made and hasn't been topped accept maybe by the new XCOMs. If I could wish for any game, that would be the one.

Who's the fatty??? They really couldn't find a prettier girl? FML just look at her legs, she's mightily brave to show off those ham. And her jaw… It's bigger than mine! It's always sad to see when out of 4 people on a stage, the girl is the biggest one. As she knows nothing about gaming I assume she was hired as 'eye-candy' though don't know by whom… Stevie Wonder possibly?

I want Xcom 2 on the Nintendo switch, that be hella fun to play in public and it be hella funny to have Xcom next to Mario plus bunny

  • June 23, 2017 at 3:11 pm

Loved Final Fantasy Tactics. Do not understand why a sequel has never been made. I guess Nintendo does not want my money. Will stick to replaying XCOM over and over in meantime.

I love the fact that the nemisis system inspired this. Great to see that it's affecting the industry.

I saw mods in the title, and I'm hoping they say some mods will go to the console version too. I totally want that Muton centurion, and the long alien pack

I just saw this interview. I love xcom and thank you jake solemon for reinventing the franchise. Is it just me or was that girl eye fucking him hardcore.

Anyone else notice the red head seemed into Jake.

Please do not add fatigue…What's the point of making someone a badass if I cant use them 24/7 :p

  • June 27, 2017 at 10:05 am

Are there going to be any new cosmetics released? D: I hope there's atleast a few with the expansion.

  • June 27, 2017 at 12:27 pm

WHEN ARE WE GETTING A XCOM TV SHOW? Don't someone wanna print money?

  • June 27, 2017 at 12:37 pm

the thumbnail message… it means playing an alien CAMPAIGN? Cause that would Rock.

  • June 27, 2017 at 12:45 pm

I have still one major complain against the reboot series.
I prefer the old money and geomap straregy style and gameplay. Much more realistic.
Also the combat and the overall layer dont need to be at the same difficult setting… you cant buy new soldiers when every sectoid kills two of them

  • June 27, 2017 at 3:31 pm

These quirks sound a lot like Darkest Dungeon quirks, I am acutally kinda looking forward to this

And it really looks like they took in what Long War team implemented, good thing to see that it made it in game itself, I hope they will implement even more things like that, sounds like X-com 2 is worth playing once again

Sounds great if my game didn't crash every time I enter hologlobe or try to save. I would rather pay for bug fixes than dlc.

Don't know about the rest of you, but if I get a soldier whose personality trait leads to them deciding to reload when they need to be shooting I'd fire their arse unless there's some compensating advantage to it. Otherwise just seems rather stupid.
Maybe he needed to explain that better, but the example he gave seems only to have negatives and that sort of soldier is not one you take into combat.

Unless they get rid of the damned avatar counter I could care less about any new features, add ons, etc.

  • June 29, 2017 at 1:02 am

Okay the question I have is this going to be like Shen's last Gift and Alien Rulers where I go on the Online store and spend 10 or 15 dollars and download it into the XCOM 2 game or will this be like XCOM Enemy Within where I go to a Store and buy a new PS4 game for $60 dollars?

  • June 29, 2017 at 5:47 am

Liked for Fire Emblem reference. My favorite game of all time.

  • June 29, 2017 at 3:47 pm

how much will war of the chosen cost

  • June 30, 2017 at 2:56 am

They need to fix the stupidly game ducked bugs in xcom 2 not make fucking expansions!!! Fuck you devs! Fix the game freeze in missions or the horrible bug where you complete a mission and a picture of some grass under your ship appears and you have to force close or exit game!

  • June 30, 2017 at 6:15 am

I think the seven year old is old enough to watch X-Com.

  • July 1, 2017 at 3:20 am

I hope the Playable Aliens/Allies unknown mod becomes a main feature of the game alongside the new soldier relationships

Also hoping we can see aliens with new skins in that mod to represent Kevlar/Predator/Warden armors

  • July 2, 2017 at 12:58 am

I See endless potential in the xcom series. Xcom 1 was incredible, xcom 2 was even better, war of the chosen looks mind blowing.

Just imagine Xcom 3: Alien campaign where you take over the world and have to build bases and Take Territories Like Risk. would be an entirely new Game

  • July 3, 2017 at 5:34 pm

So a Skirmisher could go 1V1 against an alien ruler? I mean if they get an action (through an ability) when an enemy moves, and rulers do the same thing, wouldn't that possibly be an endless turn?

  • July 12, 2017 at 10:31 pm

I was playing fire emblem while listening to this… when they started about bonds i just smiled cause i was just reading bond conversations.. and then they ask about the fire emblem influence… it was so funny XD

  • July 13, 2017 at 11:38 am

Not looking forward to the fatigue system. One thing I don't like about LW2 and the fatigue mods is the need to employ 2-3 times more soldiers just cuz. Will be needing a no-fatigue mod soon!

  • July 14, 2017 at 4:03 pm

If you keep making XCOM games I will keep buying them. This is my favorite game! Ill be an old man playing XCOM.

  • July 15, 2017 at 3:08 am

Says he values our opinions, but the amount of people wanting a coop mode is unheard, the coop mod needs the Devs support

  • July 24, 2017 at 8:52 pm

It could be even better if they would add a campaign with the aliens but that starts from the ending of the main one. Is plain that in the ending the elders didn't really died, so it could fun to see what it could happen. But i'm pretty sure this is left to XCOM 3, let's hope they add this feature in the future then.

  • August 18, 2017 at 8:08 am

Okay I love xcom….played from the very first days way back in the 90's . Love xcom 2 but the burning question is…….where is Terror from the Deep?

  • August 25, 2017 at 12:43 am
