It's baffling that Sony and Bose continued with Micro-USB this year. After getting used to the quality and convenience of USB-C, I'll never buy a Micro-USB product ever again. It sucks.

I purchased the old model and ended up returning them. The sound quality and noise canceling were amazing. My problem was with the overall sound level. They simply weren't loud enough for me. I tried them with an S8, Note 8 and iPhone 7 Plus and they simply didn't play loud enough for me. I have a pair of Jaybird X3's and they have plenty of volume regardless of the device. I'm not suggesting that the X3's sound quality is comparable but again the overall volume is louder. Am I alone in my experience with this or are my ears just bad?

Could you compare them to the Audio Technica dsr7bt which come in the same price range?

I have purchased these and feel that the quality and aesthetic is simply amazing. The ambiant sound feature is superb when in class or around others. The noise cancellation is a step ahead Bose and with more features it's definitely worth the money.

Why not mention Aptx HD and LDAC? Over LDAC and FLAC/DSD source files the music reproduction is amazing.

What is the model of the headphone stand used in the video?

No proper multipoint bluetooth simultaneous connection to 2 devices. Would go with QC35 (connects up to 8 simultaneously) if i had to choose again because of this feature. With the Sony's you need to manual disconnect on your BT device, to switch to another BT device very manual, it is little better with android phones with NFC tap to dis/reconnect not so with non NFC devices such as laptops, iPhones, mac etc.

My original 1000x got a crack on the right side of the headband and many other people have had the same cracking in the exact same spot. I just exchanged them at best buy for the new m2 model with best buy's paid warranty, and I'm still worried that these new ones will eventually have the same defect.

I'm listening to this on these headphone. I feel like all these reviews hype it up so much. THESE ARE NOT HEADPHONES FOR AUDIOPHILES. You can buy a 100 pound pair of non noise cancelling headphones with same sound quality (of course without the touch pad). I just got them today so I haven't tested it fully but for me it's not worth the price. My ears just arent sophisticated enough to notice a huge difference
